ABC wants more of the first responder drama.

It is being reported that ABC has renewed 9-1-1 for an eighth season. The pickup comes ahead of its 100th episode this Thursday in what is the first responder drama's first season on the network after being cancelled by Fox last year.
The series follows the people who put their lives on the line to save and protect others: police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and even 911 operators. Some of its storylines are based on the high-pressure experiences of real-life first responders, resulting in a variety of situations that range from intense to unpredictable to uplifting.
Look for Season 8 of 9-1-1 this fall on ABC.

They want inclusion....Ok..They HAVE inclusion, hell they force feed it like torture until we finally say STOP.. If you want "inclusion" get it right, not that many people are gay and those who are, never that attractive!!! And for Oliver Stark and his comment on "No need to announce you're no longer going to watch the show, just don't watch." well I say No need to announce that your character is Bi/Gay. You don't HAVE to make it about that!! Just make the damn show what it's suppose to be about!!

I am done with this show, making Buck gay is ridiculous. Why does every show and many commercials have to feature gays. Enough is enough

I can't believe they are making Buck's character gay or bi! Every character on TV doesn't have to be of color, gay, trans, etc. I understand the need to have diversity but come on. Buck has always gone for the ladies.

I have not watched the 3 part season opener (I hate long drawn out multiple episode stories!) I have really enjoyed this series so glad to hear that they will have a second season on ABC
