The crime drama is moving to Peacock going forward.
May 9, 2024
It was announced today that Law & Order: Organized Crime is coming back for a fifth season. The crime drama will no longer air on NBC, though, as it is making the move to streaming service Peacock for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. Two episodes are left in the current fourth season, with the finale set to air on May 16.
Law & Order: Organized Crime sees former SVU detective Elliot Stabler return to the NYPD to take on organized crime after suffering a devastating personal loss. After being away for the past decade, he must adapt to all the changes in the criminal justice system, the city, and his department. Stabler now aims to rebuild his life while leading an elite task force that is dismantling the city's most powerful crime syndicates.

I think it is unfair to the audience that we have to pay extra to use streaming service to watch some of the shows. I think this is all a political game to make more money. The streaming services are extra and people on fixed-income can't purchase everything.

The show has a slight problem and has likely jumped the shark. How many times can a highly recognizable, hairless man go undercover? And... within the L&O universe, Stabler has done the occasional press conference. Surely bad guys and organized crime saved his image on their dvr.

This show was a misfire from the beginning. Some of the story lines had promise, but by and large it became unwatchable. Christopher Meloni has always been a favorite of mine, but Stabler has been overdone as a tortured soul.

I will just wait until the summer of 2025 when they put it on NBC in reruns. If they do not then I am out.

I ain't paying for Peacock, so it's a no for me.
I was honestly losing interest anyway.
Danielle Moné Truitt and Ainsley Seiger are nice eye candy, but that ain't enough.
