Netflix announced today that Barbecue Showdown has been renewed for a third season. Previously titled 'The American Barbecue Showdown,' the competition series has aired two seasons since its debut - one in 2020 and the other in 2023.

The show gathers nine of the country's best backyard pitmasters and smokers and has them face off in various challenges with hopes of taking home the $50,000 grand prize. Michelle Buteau will return to host, with Melissa Cookston and Kevin Bludso serving as judges.

Season 3 of Barbecue Showdown premieres on Thursday, July 4.
