The sci-fi dramedy has found a new home.
June 18, 2024
USA Network has renewed Resident Alien for a fourth season. Coming two months after its Season 3 finale, the news will see the sci-fi dramedy move to its new home on USA Network from Syfy, where it aired its first three seasons.
The hour-long series premiered in 2021 and it has since served as a reliable cable performer. Its most recent season averaged a total of 3.3 million viewers and 1 million in the 18-49 demographic across all platforms through 35 days.
Based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, Resident Alien follows an alien named Harry that has crash landed on Earth with a mission to kill all humans. He decides to pass himself off as a small-town doctor to mix in among the people, but things get tricky when he gets pulled into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate further into his new surroundings. As he does this, Harry starts to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and begins wondering if humans might be worth saving.

@Concerned
Don't be to concerned.
If you ever use streaming devices, NBC, USA, and SYFY are super interrelated. They use the same style GUIs, and are surely in the same umbrella. I'm not worried cause USA kept Chucky 'not watered down.'
I have enjoyed this show. Huge fan of the actors, and like some others have said, it's a small town I like to revisit.
Northern Exposure meets Third Rock From the Sun.

I'm so relieved that mine and my uncle's favorite show isn't cancelled for good! Just gonna have to get used to the channel change. Hoping it stays on the same level as it has been with the same funny and awesome cast! USA please keep it on as long as possible!!!
