The sci-fi dramedy has found a new home.

USA Network has renewed Resident Alien for a fourth season. Coming two months after its Season 3 finale, the news will see the sci-fi dramedy move to its new home on USA Network from Syfy, where it aired its first three seasons.
The hour-long series premiered in 2021 and it has since served as a reliable cable performer. Its most recent season averaged a total of 3.3 million viewers and 1 million in the 18-49 demographic across all platforms through 35 days.
Based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, Resident Alien follows an alien named Harry that has crash landed on Earth with a mission to kill all humans. He decides to pass himself off as a small-town doctor to mix in among the people, but things get tricky when he gets pulled into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate further into his new surroundings. As he does this, Harry starts to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and begins wondering if humans might be worth saving.

I lost interest in this show like mid to late season 2... however, the concept is good, some good actors and still plenty of fans it appears, so I'm very happy it got renewed

Best news I've heard in a long time. Glad the studios are hearing the fans!! We adore this show and do NOT want it canceled like Firefly. We all need some laughs these days. Bring it on!! Me, Ed, Diana, and all us super fans are ready. 6 seasons and a movie ;-)

My husband and I have been watching Resident Alien since the beginning, and have fallen in love with Harry and the quirky inhabitants of Patience. We continue to watch the episodes over and over. The show is very well written and has many laugh-out-loud moments. So glad the show is coming back for a 4th season!

You do know people are allowed an opinion even if it’s not one you agree with, you could just ignore the post or even give your own on why you think the show is so good. I’m glad that RA got renewed as I enjoy it, but I don’t get triggered just because someone hates or dislikes something I like. Do better people.

Whoohoo!! I have been waiting with bated breath for news! Thanks USA Network!! Sending much love your way..So looking forward to see my favorite cast of characters again. Hope his Avian Love interest returns, she was terrific.

I think this and Race to Survive are the only things I watch on the USA Network.. their offerings have certainly dwindled.
