CBS announced today that Tracker has been renewed for a third season. The early pickup comes midway through the drama's 20-episode sophomore run. The show has continued its strong performance in Season 2, so far garnering over 18 million multiplatform views, up 4% year-over-year.
Based on the novel 'The Never Game' by Jeffery Deaver, the series follows Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who traverses the country as a reward seeker. He uses his expert tracking skills to assist private citizens and law enforcement in solving all kinds of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.
Look for Season 3 of Tracker this fall as part of the 2025-2026 broadcast season.

Steve doesn't know what he's talkingabout.
This kind of detective shows always plays a mix between anthology-style stories and a main tying story between the episodes. In Tracker's case, the tying and on going story is his personal life with his family and past relationships.

I can't say I'm surprised, it gets massive audiences for TV these days. But I don't think this show will last. It's kind of a gimmick without a lot of room for the main character to grow.
The producers don't seem to know exactly where this series is going. Is it just a bunch of separate episodes or is there a theme here? At times it almost seemed headed for the supernatural.

Cool show, different kind of gimmick, so I'm enjoying it. Weird that one of the lesbians randomly left, but I barely notice it anymore.
