It is being reported that CBS has cancelled The Equalizer after five seasons. The news comes ahead of this Sunday's finale, which will now serve as the drama's series ender. The show was the last scripted series at the network to have its fate decided for the 2025-2026 season.
The show stars Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic single mother with a mysterious background who utilizes her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. Known as The Equalizer to a trusted few, she is an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who will stop at nothing in her pursuit of personal redemption.

Was not a fan, but i know those who were. Keep in mind that CBS is a failing business now, soon it will be just like the CW where the only thing it will be able to show is cheap reality TV and Reruns. I think the clock is ticking on the big shows (FBI and NCIS) too so 5 years is actually a pretty impressive number...

Stopped watching after 3 series. I kept hoping Latifah would get acting lessons but it never happened. She thinks whispering with a rumble is portraying suspense.

Unbelievable!! You people that cancel good and great shows continue to piss off a lot of us. After NCIS Hawaii, then Swat, 2 of the FBIs now the Equalizer. This is another household that's done with CBS. Signing off .

The one of the most unrealistic WOKE shows from Hollyweird. Compared to the original Equalizer this show did it no justice.
