It is being reported that ABC has renewed The Bachelor for a 30th season. The long-running dating series will have a new showrunner when it returns for the 2025-2026 season. Scott Teti, current executive producer and showrunner of 'Bachelor in Paradise,' will be taking over showrunning duties from Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner, who left the franchise earlier this year after allegations of running a "toxic" work environment.
The 'Bachelor' franchise as a whole remains a reliable performer for the network after more than two decades on TV, garnering consistent ratings year after year. Recent spinoffs 'The Golden Bachelor' and 'The Golden Bachelorette' have also fared well.
