No Season 3 for the competition series.
December 2, 2025
It is being reported by Deadline that Deal or No Deal Island has been cancelled by NBC after two seasons. The news comes eight months after the competition series wrapped its sophomore run.
Set on a tropical island and hosted by Joe Manganiello, the show puts a new spin on the "Deal or No Deal" format. 13 players are transported to the elusive Banker's private island, where there are over 100 briefcases with millions of dollars split between them, which players compete to retrieve in various challenges and dilemmas. The player up for elimination in each episode plays a high-stakes game of "Deal or No Deal." At the end of the season, the last player standing faces the Banker to try and win the biggest prize in "Deal or No Deal" history.

It was a fun show. Much more interesting than you’d think based on the name alone. I hate that it’s gone because it was another place to see some reality tv legends, and I also hate it for Joe. He really cared about the show and actually became friends with the contestants. He was a great host.

I only saw season 2, but I actually liked it. You couldn't take it seriously, but the scheming among the contestants was a lot of fun. Parvati was in full villain mode, outdoing even her Survivor runs.
The record payout at the end of season 2 (reportedly the largest of any TV show ever) probably sealed the fate of this show. Can't risk having that happen again.

You know they canceled good shows like this but they keep the stupidest show in the whole world The bachelor on but yet they canceled shows like this I don't understand it

Very good show.
Excellent 1st season
But there was a sense the 2nd season was engineered , though a great contestant.
But after a $5.8 million dollar payout - there was no way they could recover.

Wouldn't be surprised if it causing the highest gameshow payout sealed its fate.

The first season was great (because of Boston Rob being on it and making it interesting). The 2nd season was just okay... Not quite sure I could have watch a 3rd season. I will miss seeing Joe but I am sure he will pop up someplace else soon!
