NBC announced today that Chicago Fire has been picked up for Season 15. The news comes with six episodes remaining in the drama's current 14th season. The original entry in the 'Chicago' franchise continues to be a strong performer in the network's primetime lineup.

On the air since 2012, Chicago Fire is NBC's third longest-running drama currently on the air. Its success paved the way for three spin-offs over the years, and while 2017's 'Chicago Justice' lasted just one season, 'Chicago P.D.' and 'Chicago Med' have remained strong.

Chicago Fire follows the courageous men and women at Firehouse 51, home to noble firefighters and paramedics who look fear in the eye and forge headfirst into dangerous situations in order to help those in need.

NBC renewed the entire 'One Chicago' lineup today, ensuring all three shows in the franchise - Fire, Med and P.D. - will be returning for the 2026-2027 television season this fall.
