Christina Hawthorne spends her days and nights leading a group of nurses on the front lines at Richmond Trinity Hospital. She's compassionate and headstrong, refusing to let doctors or administrators get in the way of her providing proper care for her patients.
A recently widowed single mother, Hawthorne’s dedicated focus on helping others takes a toll on her personal life. She struggles to maintain a proper balance between her career, raising her daughter, and taking care of herself.

Maybe Jada should create her own network like Oprah did and then she want have to worry about being cancelled. I think they should petition like the show "The Game." It got them back on the air but on another network. BET will pick it up, maybe.

I thought the Marc Anthony twist was getting weird. I decided to watch MSNBC News instead. The doctor she had was real sexy--never developed. I'm still not sure who beat her up. I guess the show rose to its own level of incompetence.

Hated the Mark Anthony story line but at least tell us who shot him. Plus tie up the other unanswered questions. Bring back the series w/o MA in it.

Maybe "canceled" is the wrong word...let's say its more like "resigned" considering the producer probably doesn't want to invest in his musical director's cravings for attention anymore...just sayin'.

It seems that where there is decent acting and R E A L STORIES, this doesn't sell anymore, only the silly and ridulous ranting and raving,yelling and screaming and UNREAL stories are selling. I am so sorry u decided to cancell this show. It was one of the good ones. ALL of the reality shows are really, really, reaching, it seems that the writer and producers have no really creativity anymore.......s o s a d.....

These TV Execs don't have a clue. If they keep this up no-one will watch tv at all. I am getting pretty sick of them canceling Good quality shows and replacing them with these crappy reality shows. We need to fight for them to put Hawthorne back on the air because it was a great show!

They always cancel these shows hanging in the middle of a story. It makes it hard to get invested in the story line. The owners know this is coming they could at least wrap it up. I was upset that they had Christina shaft a great character like Tom!! Her daughter had more sense than she did.

WoW ~ I can't believe they're cancelling the show and leaving it hanging. There are too many unanswered questions. It was a really great show and I hope they will change and bring it back. I had just started back watching evening tv. I hate reality shows. BRING HAWTHORNE BACK!!!!!!!
