Christina Hawthorne spends her days and nights leading a group of nurses on the front lines at Richmond Trinity Hospital. She's compassionate and headstrong, refusing to let doctors or administrators get in the way of her providing proper care for her patients.
A recently widowed single mother, Hawthorne’s dedicated focus on helping others takes a toll on her personal life. She struggles to maintain a proper balance between her career, raising her daughter, and taking care of herself.

I agree with Joanne, it was becoming bizarre. The plot was getting real silly. It did not come together at all. If it was because of Marc Anthony, that is silly as well. I just starting not making any sense at all, including the romances at the hospital. Silly, silly.

It is shame that HawthoRNe has been taken off. We should make our voices heard if we are disappointed about the network's decision. Anybody remember what happened to "The Game" It can happen again!

Hawthorne cancelled You have got to be kidding me One of the best shows on television I loved the whole cast and especially Jada Pinkett Smith What the hell is wrong with you all? Do you need more writers? I can write a script, many scripts to keep our Young Gifted a Black women and men at the forefront of Hollywood media. What is a girl to do now Keep Hawthorne on the air

I loved! loved! loved! Hawthorne It was positive had great diversity and Jada Pinkett Smith put her heart and soul into this project. I wonder is it Hollywood or the "Powers to Be" that won't allow African American women to stay on the air in a leading role I guess we really have to depend on Tyler Perry to give our African Americans and other cultures of diversity a job. This is a damn shame Anyone reading this blog protest to keep hawthorne on the air This was a shoe of substance.

Is the show going to at least know who killed Marc Anthony's character? Was it suicide or murder? They left everybody hanging.

This show was canceled because it was becoming too bizarre. I really enjoyed it at first when she and the white guy were together. But the on-screen affair sucked! It ruined the show. Nobody wants to watch that. People love happy endings in movies not miserable ones. And the one episode with Jada just pouring her heart out was awful. I couldn't watch the whole thing. It was ridiculous. The writers really missed with turning things around on this.

Well, I love this show, and I heard that this show is cancelled for sure al because of Marc Anthony! Probably all because of his divorce. But, that should have nothing to do with the show. Just kick him off, and keep the great show going!
