Created, written, directed, produced, and edited by stand-up comic Louis C.K., the show puts a spotlight on the title character's everyday ordeals around life in New York City. These include his quest to find love and the pursuit of humor.
Each episode of the show includes a scripted story and a mix of Louis C.K.'s stand-up comedy, which is original material done for the series.
