A comedy following the lives of two waitresses in New York City.
Max is a twenty-something girl who comes from a poor, working-class family. Caroline is from a wealthy family but is now broke and on her own.
They work together at a Brooklyn restaurant and become friends with dreams of someday opening a cupcake shop together.

This is by far one of the worst shows in recent TV history. It's not even remotely funny, the writting just stinks, and the acting is so sub par it's tragic. How it made it to episode two is a miracle. Crummy Broadcasting Station-clean up your trashy act and stop producing garbage that appeals only to mouth breathers with an extra chromosome and dangerously low IQ's.

I agree with Patti Mitchell. My wife and I like the show a lot, it is funny nothing racist about it. Something must be going right since it was picked up for three more season's....I say if you don't like it don't bitch, just have your tv set to a different channel when it come's on, and maybe if some of these shows that are racist on tv today, maybe we wouldn't have the problem's we have in America today. I'm NOT A RACIST, I like ALL NATIONALITIES, except for one, the one that is trying to GET YOUR CHILDREN to help them kill and fight the PEOPLE in OUR COUNTRY or to go there and assist in what they are doing.

This show consists of sexual innuendo and one liners. That being said I think it is a pretty funny show. All of the actors and actresses do a pretty good job in my opinion, however; the writing could be better for sure. I would give this show a 3.5 out of 5, simply because the writing is... well simple.

I just don't get to whom CBS is marketing this show. Is it immigrants who are trying to learn English through watching television?
The writing is predictable. The actors are just plain loud and deliver the flat lines poorly. I turn the channel everytime I see this show - and CBS is one of my top two networks to watch.
Garrett Morrison is the only standout actor on this show... until it's his turn to deliver his poorly written line!

I'm surprised this is still running. It has its moments for sure but some of the jokes are such a crazy stretch it is almost painful. And I am also shocked at some of the stuff they get away with saying so early in the schedule.
But it's really had some good lines.
And to the people insulting others because they don't like the show.... You're not helping your case. Humor is different for everyone. It doesn't make people who don't enjoy what you enjoy bad people or less intelligent. Seriously guys. Chill.

For everyone that doesn't find this show funny you obviously don't have a very good sense of humor or you take things WAY too offensively, go back to watching your dull boring shows. THIS IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!

Kat Dennings and Beth Behr are great. But not even they can make this show funny. This show should have been cancelled in season 3.
