A comedy following the lives of two waitresses in New York City.
Max is a twenty-something girl who comes from a poor, working-class family. Caroline is from a wealthy family but is now broke and on her own.
They work together at a Brooklyn restaurant and become friends with dreams of someday opening a cupcake shop together.

I absolutely love love love love this show!!!!!!!! It is real life comedy that this chaotic world needs more of. Don't ever cancel it. You all are brilliant and beautiful! Screw the haters, they just don't have a sense of humor. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

At first I thought this show was stupid, but wow has it grown on me! It is low brow, but it's also light and I've actually laughed out loud at times, which is unusual for me. It has real heart, but, in spite of the title, I think the girls should become successful at some point otherwise it'll just grind on the same old rails till it dies. It could be a bit like 'cougar town' where it started out as one thing but grew into something else. Sophie makes me snort laugh, she's so into herself, and it's nice to see a hot woman stuffing her face without shame. I don't know why people are going on about Kat's boobs, geez, grow up! Keep it coming CBS.

This show has grown on me, I really like it, apart from the highlight being max's boobs its not that bad.
You either get its quick wit and cheese factor or youre slow and cant keep up with the dialogue.
Im a fan and hope it gets renewed for next season

Don't know what planet your living on, but back here on earth the show is still on. And quit hating on Kat Dennings body. Just because someone has breasts bigger than yours doesnt make them better or worse. Some people are skinny, some fat. Some stacked and some flat. The world doesnt move to the beat of just one drum. Your ignorance makes you sound like you have a store bought brain. And by the sound of things it sounds like you bought it at the dollar store. The show is lowbrow, but thats just what its trying to be. Good for fans of Married With Children. Better than a lot of pretentious crap that does nothing but clutter the airwaves.
