So, A&E, you don't want us baby boomers? Let's see what you are shunning:
1. Highest income of all brackets- you know - those that have large houses and large tvs- the ones advertisers like to sell expensive things to?
2. Highest disposable income - you know-that stuff that people use to pay for cable channels.
3. Most loyal of all viewerships. When we find something we like, we stick with it - you know, like long running series like Frasier, the Golden Girls, M*A*S*H*, Little Gouse on the Prairie, Downton Abbey, Friends, NCIS, etc.
4. We like quality. Remember, we are the ones that bought the bigger houses, the Mercedess and BMWs these marks were not big on the states before the boomers foun
d them in the 1980s.
Odd when you look at these qualities, that you don't want us. Seems as if you don't WANT to succeed!
Well, you succeeded. We are gone without Longmire. It is the only quality show on your shadow of a once quality network. Good riddance!

You have insulted every age group you could possibly think of. Let's start with over 49...we are still working and paying the cable bill which means we get to decide whether we watch your network. Not to worry..we won't be. Then you insult 18 to 49 year Olds by telling them you have quality TV..not to worry..you don't. Your channel has a lifetime ban in my home and I suspect many others. We will not forget.

I looked forward to watching Longmire every week. At last a show that didn't have a bunch of losers humping poles or sleeping with everyone in town. A show with an actual plot and people who could actually act. No wonder they're taking it off. Maybe A&E should stop and think about who has the most money and it sure isn't the younger crowd. I'm disgusted with what is offered on television these days. All we have is fake reality shows with deadbeats, thieves, liars and losers. Longmire was a breath of fresh air.....imagine a person with integrity, loyalty, guts and determination. Now imagine a bunch of losers sitting behind a desk deciding that only old people watch the show so it has to go. Old people pay the cable bill guys and if Longmire isn't put back in the lineup A&E will be cancelled in this house.

CANCELLED????RENEWED????!!!!! I NEED THE TRUTH. Right now, mightily pissed/annoyed/sad that I am l left hanging as Walt is trying to get Branch's body to the hospital in time? What are you thinking cancelling this show? Cancel some shoddy, junky, ill thought-out series whose audience would be happy watching any number of identical crime show that is exactly the same week after week. Let's have an American West classic continued. Have you sold it overseas yet? Germany? France? They are so crazy for western stuff.

Well, sigh...I suppose I owe all the LONGMIRE fans a big apology! I am 67 and loved it! I found out that A&E cancelled this awesome show because the viewing audience was too old. SHEESH! A&E used to mean Arts & Entertainment, but the trash and 12-year-old mentality programs they keep running made me absolutely nauseous. When they presented LONGMIRE I was back to viewing that channel for that show ONLY. Anyhoo, I cancelled A&E immediately upon their incredible decision to zap one of the best shows ever. Hope they get the viewership they deserve, but not this household. And, again, I am soooo sorry I am an old geezer that likes quality entertainment.

Hoping you will return Longmire to your program lineup. Quality scripts, interesting characters, and good acting has resulted in a good program with a loyal following.

i can't believe A&E cancelled Longmire. Big mistake! I certainly hope another outlet picks up the show. That was the only thing I watched on A&E. Not many tasteful, interesting and worthwhile programming on TV now for the over 50 age grouping and I. For one understand now why I watch Netflicks 90% of time.

I am told that the demographics (people over 50) don't matter and this is why Longmire was cancelled. I'm truly sorry for A&E. They seem to be closed mined and sorry people. I watch Duck Dynasty, because it is a show that makes me laugh and feel good. Longmire was a good show because it was a story told well and acted well. I wonder who is at the wheel at A&E, 12 year olds? Grow up and give us some good programs. Take some of that "REALLITY" programing off. The Wahlburgers? Who really cares what that family does?
