A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

I tried sending a comment to the a&e network feedback website to voice my displeasure over the Longmire cancellation and got a message back indicating the mailbox was full and no longer accepting messages. Interesting....

A&E, What the heck. Longmire is much more relevant than the collection of CSI detective shows and unique because he is so low tech, and valid as it explores the contemporary world of our Native Americans & contemporary culture, good & bad. Why not drop some cheap, reality shows, really. A&E is off their game and should hire someone with better knowledge of the viewing market and what is unique & edgy. I'm bored with most TV.

there is a reason A&E doesn't make enough money, it is because they cancel shows like Longmire!!! Maybe if they kept their quality shows and cancelled the garbage, they would make a little money. If Longmire is gone, my household will NOT watch A&E. Will somebody pick up this show? We need our Longmire!

Of course T&E?, Trash & Entertainment? (fka A&E) is trying to back pedal. Insulting their audience: apathetic to our wishes, and intelligence by giving such insulting viewing options. I've read they have had a flood of complaints. They even had to hire new operators to the take a flood of calls. Another website indicated this could be their worst PR problem. Ahhhh (*sniff, sniff*) I hope they fall flat on their greedy behinds. See what they say below:

It still comes out to: we want to get rich and could care less how we do it. Firstly, I believe A&E set up Longmire for failure. They offered few episodes, was given a terrible time slot, and gave little promotion; I think they made up their minds about Longmire long before August.
So know our voices are being heard but not considered by T&E? But if one thing we Longmire fans have learned, don't give without trying. So don't stop voicing your opinion. I have never hoped so strongly that a wrongly-canceled show will continue – only on a network that actually appreciates and supports the gem they acquired. I feel this has become an issue, on so many levels that we should not sit idly by.

I don't think a&e cares what we think .We as tv watchers need to get together and start bypassing all the advertising company's if we could do that we might could get some of these shows back hit where it counts take way there money. That would get their attention

Longmire cancelled really? What is wrong with you A&E?.First you cancel Glades(one of the best shows on tv) and now Longmire. I think whoever makes these decisions has lost touch with reality. Why would you replace good shows with shows like Storage Wars and Duck Dynasty? Rant over. Plenty of other channels to watch.

If Longmire is not renewed I also will no longer watch A&E, an awesome show with an amazing amount fans...whats wrong with you A&E? First Glades and now Longmire?
