A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

When I was much younger I looked forward to watching Gunsmoke. Longmire gave me that same feeling waiting for the next episode. What a drag they canceled it. Hope it gets picked up. Needs to be done soon or the crew will be on their own way.

I was astounded the first time I saw Longmire. Finally, a show that was written well, had good character dynamics, and showed old fashioned integrity and determination to get justice. It makes me get the cozy feelings I had watching John Wayne. You have a great product that should not be wasted when it makes so many people feel proud to be American!

I'm so disappointed to hear that this show is canceled. I hope they find a network to pick it up as A & E are now officially on my DO NOT watch TV station list. How dumb can they be to cancel such a popular show! Idiots!!!

Very upset that Longmire was cancelled. This is the the best show on TV or any cable station; well written, well acted and so very entertaining. Please, please bring this show back.

Very very disappointed A&E cancelled my favorite show. Great actors and acting, good story line. It was by far the best show A&E offered. I hope another network picks them up.

Longmire has become an important part of my viewing
pleasure. The actors are talented and do an excellent
job portraying the characters from Craig Johnsons novels.
Longmire is the only show on cable worth watching.
Yes the audience may be older, but we are wiser and
we appreciate a good storyline, and the chemistry between
the cast. I also appreciate the intelligent script and
the intrigue that makes me want more each week. To lose Longmire is like taking away a family member. It breaks
my heart.
