A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

I think Longmire is one of the most novel and best written shows on the air. The short seasons are very disappointing. My entire family watch every episode and have told all our friends to watch and they all agree of the quality. Please tell me this show is not bein renewed for a season 4. It would be a tragey when you have such bad writing and acting on so many other network shows.

I really like this show, but after the season 3 cliffhanger, I only hope it is renewed for season 4, because I don't have a clue as to what really happened. I can only guess and that's no answer. PERIOD

This show just doesnt stop giving by far the best show in decades I absolutely love it and wish it had longer seasons. The acting, actors, plot, story etc are amazing and fresh. Ill cancel a&e if they do not renew a 4th season.

My wife and I believe that Longmire is very well written and has a very good cast of actors and would like it to go for a much longer period of time. It is a very good program, hope it will make it for 2015...

It is my hope that Longmire will be renewed for another season 4 will be around the corner. It is an excellent TV series, with great performers, an excellent storyline, a class act, and a show that actually has depth and substance. We could use more realistic shows such as this with good drama - I have grown tired and weary with vampires, phony under the Dome shows, aliens , horror and other freaky genres, so one such as Longmire is so refreshing. I made one other comment separate from this one and I noticed typos did not see an edit portion; therefore, the reason for this additional comment. Please if there's any influence by audience comments being made regarding Longmire, it is my hope we will be fortunate to have another season with this show.

Longmire is a wonderful series with GREAT performers, excellent storyline, has depth & substance. It is my hope we will be fortunate for another season. A CLASS ACT. PLEADE GIVE US A SEASON 4.

Just watching the show from today.... love this show.... the actors, the writing, and the dynamics between the characters..
