I like this show for a variety of reasons. The actors and the building of the storyline. Most of all, I like it because I live in Absarokee Montana, which is about 30 miles north of where this story takes place.

Absarokee or Absaroka, are a Native American people also known as the Crow. The name of the tribe, Apsáalooke [ə̀ˈpsáËɾòËɡè], meaning "children of the large-beaked bird",[ http://tinyurl.com/ksk9vgm ] was given to them by the Hidatsa, a neighboring Siouan tribe.
You may also be interested in Native American Lore regarding the Little People of the Pryor Mountains. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_People_of_the_Pryor_Mountains - I am quite surprised that this legend hasn't been incorporated in to the storyline. I will be hunting Mule Deer in this area this season and everyone, Indian & white have told me NOBODY goes into that area for fear of encountering these Little people. I will be prepared as legend says if you leave out gifts of beads, fish hooks, Arrows & tobacco they will leave you alone & possible even visit with you. Anyways, that's a bit of background history of the area which this show is based upon.
