A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

This is an awesome show, Robert Taylor plays Longmire with perfection. The characters are all truly wonderful, with their shortcomings and sometimes their surprising heroism, it is definitely worth watching! And it's great to see Lou Diamond Phillips again.

This show has gone from so-so to awesome within 2 seasons. Don't cancel it. It has the potential to be great--if it continues to get better as it go along. Something fairly rare. That's all I have to say.

My husband and I also really like this show and can't wait until the 3rd season to find out more. It would be a shame not to renew this program when there is so much CRAP on other stations. This program has a good storyline and we always look forward to the next weeks program. It should be a full season program and not a summer fill in!! The writers are doing a great job, please do not cancel this great entertaining program.

Dottie, It is shot right here in New Mexico, Santa Fe. We are all so proud of the fine work they are doing here, they are all our neighbors and our friends. Please continue to urge A&E TV to renew for a third season.
