A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

My husband and I love this show! The season finale has got us both anxious to see the next season! Fantastically interesting and wonderfully directed. I can not get enough Longmire. Can not wait to start reading the books.

Longmire is worth watching just for the scenery, although I have heard that the Wyoming based series is actually shot elsewhere. It's good to see a program show some Indians who are portrayed as intelligent, hard working and professional people. They're shown as complicated, multidimensional people instead of caricatures.

This is my favorite TV show. Please renew it for a 3rd season. I love the characters and everyone has some decency about them; even Branch. It also shows the complexity of situations like Walt's wife being murdered. I would not want Henry or Walt to serve one day for the murder.

I don't watch a lot of TV. I am not happy with what is on anymore BUT, I love this show. I had read the books and was very happy to see it come on as a series. It is one of the best. I never miss it. It is refreshing to see this type of series come back. Great cast, good story lines. I sincerely hope it does NOT get cancelled.
Not a lot of bloody violence, bad sex and silly stories. Well done A&E. We need more like it. Maybe C.J.Box's Joe Pickett.

This is a fantastic show. I look forward to watching it each time. Won't miss it. I hope there will be a season 3. Love all the characters. "Walt" is superb. We need more feel good movies. Please keep it up.

Just finished watching another episode of Longmire. Each show my wife and I watch goes by so fast, we can't believe it's over. Truly a refreshing show. We really hope the writers keep up the good work, and the network keeps its fingers off the kill switch.

Love the show. The stories are so different than you see on other TV dramas. The back story has me hooked. I love the characters and the acting. I hope that there will be a third season. With so many worthless "reality" shows on TV it's wonderful to have a well written drama with a lot less violence than has become the norm lately.

Show is BORING. Over rated.
They should have made Young Guns as a series.
Since Hollywood rehashes batman, superman, the hulk every 5 years...why not? Young Guns had excitement.
My sisters like the show only because if the Actor who was on Silk Stalkings....but that guy's acting
