A crime drama based on the series of mystery novels of the same name.
Walt Longmire is the Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. After the death of his wife, he returns to work to investigate a string of serious crimes in his jurisdiction while preparing to run for re-election against a young deputy who wants his job.

You have got to be kidding me. this show is great! with great stories and plots!!! It is also nice to find out and learn about the native american culture. Don't cancel - bring them back!!!!!

I am so disappointed with this news of A&E canceling Longmire! It was the last of great television! My husband and I loved this program!

Canceling this show is a perfect example of the END of the "golden age of television"

Cant believe you canceled Longmire after I changed my sceduling to get AtE back.What a mistake.Longmire was a really good western, was really hoping to see it again,all these reality shows are so stupid.

Wow! Have just been reading that Longmire has been cancelled. Is there ANY chance of it being picked up by another network? It's such a terrific show, my husband and I are glued to the tv when it's on. Please reconsider A&E - this is quality tv.

Love Longmire. It seems like when a show finally gets really interesting you cancel. We were left with so many cliff hangers it seems impossible that you would just up and cancel this wonderful show.

My husband, my brothers and I just loved Longmire. We cannot stand those reality shows. Please bring it back. It was one of only several shows that we faithfully watched.

A&E has really messed up badly by cancelling this show. Other shows on this network have been cancelled in the past and were not missed, but LONGMIRE ???? Haven't seen as good a modern-day western drama that matched up to this series in years ! And just as it's getting better and better, typical of A&E, the best of what they have to offer gets cancelled. PLEASE tell me some other network will pick this show up and run with it ! And we can all quit A&E !
