A crime drama spun off from The Closer.
With Brenda Leigh Johnson's departure, Captain Raydor is in charge of Major Crimes. But the team has trouble accepting her because of her dislike for the team when it under Chief Johnson's leadership.

Although I liked Kyra Sedgwick, I love Mary McDonnell even more!! Brenda was too self-absorbed; Sharon is an admirable leader. She projects genuine interest in her team. The ensemble is terrific; even when the crime is bizarre, I tune in to watch my favorite three - Louie, Michael, and Andy. Can wait to see how Rusty's story develops. I really want this show to stay on the air.

The episode: There's No Place Like Home, was excellent. Major Crimes got its start from another great show "The Closer." The veteran actors who appeared in this episode made a fantastic ensemble. I hope they get their own show as well.

please leave this show on. i've enjoyed it very much. i was and am a fan of closer but i also likes this major crimes and like how they are bringing in different themes with the main roles. please keep it on the air, i look forward to the new story every week. i watch it twice.

I finally got used to sharon and decided i really like the show. HOWEVER, they have added some new woman who is extremely irritating and ruins the show. PLEASE take her off!!!

Loved the closer,so I decided to give major crimes a chance. I am so glad they kept most of the cast, especially Julio. The first episode this season had a clip with him wearing a wedding band, which led me to think he had married the young mother with the little boy in a closer episode. Now they have him distracted with the 'crush' he has on Emma, the assistant dist atty. was the wedding band clip a mistake because he is really married? Also love Provençal. I don't want him to ever be written out of the show.

I love this show!!! Granted Kyra was excellent as The Closer, and I do miss her. However; Mary's demeanor and smart, quiet ways are just as effective.
The ENTIRE cast is very endearing and I must say the writing is excellent!!

I've been watching The Closer since the beginning and although I miss it, love Major Crimes. I don't like the addition of the kid Rusty. He needs to go off to college.

Major crimes stinks. This witch can't hold a candle to Kyra Sedgwick. She was fantastic. Bring her back!!!!!!!!!
