A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

Of all the shows on television, I can't believe this is want they chose to cancel, "really!" I was one of the best shows on tv.

I'm sorry to see this show go. I cannot imagine what motivates T.V. executives. Surely not intelligence and foresight. They never give the really good shows a fighting chance.

I hope Vegas will return next fall. Its one of my favorite shows. I will be very unhappy if this show is cancelled.

Vegas is a GREAT show....one of the best!! The actors play their part well and that can not be said for most of the TV shows these days. There really isn't much worth watching on TV. If you want to cancel a show how about the stupid reality shows or some of the comedies that are insulting. Keep the few good shows that you have!!!! Vegas should not be cancelled!!

Sure makes a person NOT want to watch anymore new shows on CBS if they're going to cancel a great show like Vegas!! I suppose Blue Bloods will be next?!? And most likely replaced with another stupid reality show. Enough with the reality shows!!! Enough of coming out with new shows, getting everyone hooked on the show, then cancelling them! Oh well, CBS....there's always NBC & ABC, so goodbye to you!!! No more getting hooked on anymore of your new shows, only to have them cancelled way too soon!

One of the best shows ever!!!! PLEASE don't cancel this show!!!!! Maybe one of the other stations will pick it up. This show does not deserve to be cancelled!

Sorry to see this adult drama cancelled!! Too many great adult shows being cancelled!! By adult, I mean those of us older than 45!!!
