A sci-fi drama set in a border town on Earth in 2046.
In the year 2046, Earth has changed. There are now a multitude of alien races living on the planet, and the landscape has been terraformed beyond recognition. In the border town of Defiance - formerly St. Louis - events start to occur that threaten the fragile peace this town and its residents have fought for.

The people pulling the strings at syfy probably never even watch any of these shows so they could care less what gets cancelled or renewed. All they care about is what the ratings are right now. They don't even take in to account that Defiance, an original sci-fi show that airs on Friday nights when most people go out, still manages to get well over a million viewers. That's pretty good if you ask me.

Defiance is easily the best show on syfy by far. The attention to detail with the costumes and make-up is superb. The characters and sets are amazing and the writing is brilliant. The production costs is probably what syfy is worried about. That's why they do cheaply produced reality shows.

These people seem to cancel the shows people like the best. I don't get why they think their shows need to be number 1 or they get cancelled. There a lot of shows out there to watch and they cannot all be number 1.

Please renew Defiance. By far the best show on Syfy and definitely their best quality show with the great cast and writing. Definitely the show on this channel I look most forward to watching.

We at Voices Of Defiance Podcast are certainly hoping for a 4th season! Especially with all the great storylines Kevin Murphy (the Defiance Showrunner) ran past us on our last podcast going forward! Really love Defiance. Hope very much that they renew it for the new year so that we can see where the story goes. Where the peacekeeper and doc end up and if they make it back. PLEASE RENEW IT!!
