A sci-fi drama set in a border town on Earth in 2046.
In the year 2046, Earth has changed. There are now a multitude of alien races living on the planet, and the landscape has been terraformed beyond recognition. In the border town of Defiance - formerly St. Louis - events start to occur that threaten the fragile peace this town and its residents have fought for.

Just started watching, caught 1st season on Amazon, I'm hooked!caught up with 2nd season, can hardly wait for more! Hope there will be a season 3!

The trouble with tv companies these days is, they keep killing good shows before they really have a chance to get established. It's difficult to invest your time in them, just in case they pull the rug from under you. I don't bother watching until there's at least a season 3 of anything in the bag now. The last one I invested my weekly interest in was Flash Forward.. and I never got to see the end of the story - EPIC dissapointment.

I was really waiting for this show since there's no more stargate Atlantis but I'm not happy with Defiance just yet I tried watching it's just I wanted farscape this is nothing like that ..it's too realistic and the graphics are not very good when it comes to creatures .The alien girl with the red hair she needs her own show she's the most intersecting character everyone else is thrown at you out of nowhere.. like who the f......k is that ? season 1 was not good they need to work harder on the shows graphics and stories!
