A drama following the life of a man released from prison after 19 years on death row.
Nineteen years ago, Daniel Holden was sentenced to death after being convicted of the rape and murder of his girlfriend. When newly discovered DNA evidence vacates Daniel's conviction, he is released from prison and returns to his hometown of Paulie, Georgia.
Daniel must now adjust to his new life, including the effects his return has on his family and the townsfolk.

I spotted Rectify on the Sundance Channel, but when I realized it was Season 3, I checked Netflix streaming and found that Season 1 & 2 were there. I binge-watched 1 & 2 - it was that good. Now I found all of Season 3 on my On Demand on DirecTV. And I am binge-watching it! VERY glad to see it has been renewed for Season 4. I will be looking for it for sure. Great characters. Fascinating concept. Sad and illuminated writing. How misconceptions can deceive, lies can prevail, and suspicious minds can destroy family, community, & a town. But thank heaven that perseverance for the truth furthers.
