A legal drama following a defense lawyer with a chaotic life.
Keegan Deane is a criminal defense lawyer whose life is a bit of a mess. His ex-wife thinks he's unreliable, judges call him an outrage, the IRS knows him as a defendant, and his colleagues think he can be a general pain in the ass.
On the bright side, he is also brilliant, charming, and possesses a lack of discretion that helps him land cases nobody else wants.

PLEASE DON'T CANCEL THIS SHOW! HOW could you replace it with something not half as funny or unique? Bad move!!!! My husband and I were both instantly addicted.

Fox, I am a regular TV viewer. I enjoy many of the popular shows. I see myself as a mainstream viewer. When I saw the previews advertising the new series, Rake, it looked interesting. I watched the first episode and thought it was ok. I stayed with it and it improved each week. Kinnear got better and better in his role. By the time you cancelled the series, my girlfriend and I were hooked, recording shows to be sure we did not miss a week. Then, we were shocked to see it pulled. It really is a show that should be tried again. It will catch. In fact, it can become a hit. Please re-consider.

Of course Rake got cancelled. It was funny, well written, interesting. You know, everything the average TV watching American hates.

This show was one that both me and my husband could enjoy together. Great characters and storylines. Totally surprised that of all the things to go, Fox picked this one. Very disappointed. I beg you to give the show another chance!

I am not surprised RAKE was cancelled. The show is based on the Australian hit and in no way compares. The FOX version ended on April 5 and the following week the new season of the original RAKE began on the Audience network. That's when I realized how truly awful FOX's RAKE was. RAKE is a huge hit in Australia. It is clear why FOX wanted to try and recapture the magic in the US. Sorry Keegan Dean....Cleaver Green RULES!

Gutted to hear that Rake is being cancelled....has had me in complete tears of laughter so many times and I've only seen seven episodes so far here in Ireland. Fabulous characters, great story lines...one of best shows on tv....
