A drama following an NYPD detective balancing the demands of her day job and her family.
Laura Diamond is a New York homicide detective who is doing her best to balance her work with her home life as a single mother, which includes two disobedient kids and a soon-to-be ex-husband who is also a cop - and her boss.
Her life can get pretty crazy as a modern-day working mom, but she makes it work with help from her understanding partner.

It's kinda sad that the 'Will and Grace' cast members' shows that I watched all get cancelled. Sean's 'Sean Saves the World', Eric's 'Perception', and now Debra's 'Mysteries of Laura'. Megan's doing ok though but none of her roles have matched the greatness of Karen Walker lol. I do wish they'd just go back to doing 'Will and Grace' again lol. They all have such great talent, and with Debra's show lasting past the first season, I had hoped it would survive this cancellation trend. But I gotta admit, my attention span didn't last long with her show, I only watched a few episodes when it started.

How can a network be so out of touch with their audience. This was clearly one the best and most enjoyable show on TV. One that the whole family could enjoy. Rather than trash it, let it thrive and build a greater following. Promote the show, don't cancel it!!!!!

Please keep this show... Please do not cancel. My sister and I LOVE this show. We're in different states and talk about the show on Thursday mornings. It seems like there are less and less shows that are just clean fun entertainment.
