A drama following an NYPD detective balancing the demands of her day job and her family.
Laura Diamond is a New York homicide detective who is doing her best to balance her work with her home life as a single mother, which includes two disobedient kids and a soon-to-be ex-husband who is also a cop - and her boss.
Her life can get pretty crazy as a modern-day working mom, but she makes it work with help from her understanding partner.

Please don't cancel this show. It is terrific.: clean, calm, casual! NBC will lose a lot of devoted viewers if this show is taken off their schedule. Save "The Mysteries of Laura!" It is much too good to drop!!

The only reason Laura would not be renewed has to be the under 40 crowd. This program doesn't have enough sex, blood and guts, todays kid language and the so cool hip hop crap! Todays youth are outta control and should be on their own planet.

SEEMS LIKE EVERYTIME A GOOD CLEAN SHOW COMES ON IT GETS CANCELLED. IF IT DOESNT HAVE BLOOD AND GUTS SHOWING NOBODY WANTS TO WATCH IT. THIS IS A CLEAN SHOW WITH LITTLE CURSING AND LOVE SCENES. IT HAS COMEDY AND SADNESS AT THE SAME TIME. ITS ONE OF THOSE SHOWS THAT YOU WANT HER AND JAKE TO BE TOGETHER, LIKE GILLIGANS ISLAND,WILL THEY EVER GET RESCUED. PLEASE DONT CANCEL THIS SHOW.

A "strong woman" who always shows up her less-than-brilliant superiors and gets it right, except, of course, for being a mother. Woefully derivative, not funny at all, and scented like the harbor at low tide -- not repulsive, but definitely unpleasant.

Please, please do NOT cancel this show. It is my second best favorite show, NCIS being the #1. Love it, love it.

Love this show. I look for it every week, and miss it when it's not on. It makes me smile. It's fun and serious, a good mix I think. Please don't cancel it.
