@ Greg,
It's a TV program which use actors that:
1. Follow a script.
2. Take direction from a Director.
If you think the actors are stilted or blah, consider the director tells the actor how to say the line and how to move through the scene, often telling the actor how to open a door or which direction to go when exiting a room. blame the writers and the director(s) for the output of the show. They are the main contributing factors. The actors mainly do as they are told and have very little input in each scene... and some directors can be brutal with a "It's my way or the highway" attitude.

The main thing I have noticed is that her team looks like a clone of the Scorpion team and actually I like the Cyber team better. But that's just me.

Hard to understand why this show has not been cancelled.
Poorly scripted, over acted and emotionally blank.
How does a network like CBS invest in so much talent and then allow direction and production to destroy a great plotline!

Like the premise of this show. Think it will do well.
However, Arquette's acting is just awful. Stilted with no vocal inflection. Makes me wonder how an Oscar-winning actor can be so bad. Is she simply not emotionally invested in her character?
Nichols isn't much better and he's been acting for a good long time. Was a fan of his till this gig. Who knows? Maybe he'll get better as the show goes along.
Van der Beek is good, as are the rookie actors. I'll stay with this show cus I really like the premise.
@juice........most of your comments pan TV series of many different genres. Maybe television just isn't the medium for
you?

Slick, but only mild emotional depth.
Opening scene in pilot: who sleeps wearing eyeglasses? Does he need them to read in his dreams?

Have high hopes for this show. I was not impressed with the first episode Really want it to be successful but if their is not a lot of improvement quickly it will not succeed. The lead cast is good but some of the cast just does not seem to fit the show.

I'd like to apologise for including two NCIS shows in my CSI Cyber evaluation. It's NCIS LA and NCIS NO, neither of which are CSI shows...MI Bad. Feel free to rake me over the coals for my stupid blunder.

Here are some positive comments; I liked the first episode, this show had good potential, please let it develop. What's wrong with the NO Show? I like it too. Mr juice, take a chill pill ... My opinion, thanks ...

It had some definite flaws, however I'm willing to give it a few more episodes to flex it's wings so to speak. At least it's not as bad as CSI Miami, or CSI New Orleans. It sort of reminds me of Scorpion in a way and I hope they don't get into that loop if the series continues.

Then don't watch it!
