A comedy based on Neil Simon's classic play of the same name.
Ladies' man and famous curmudgeon Oscar Madison has a seemingly perfect life. He may be divorced and his apartment is a mess, but he hosts a popular sports show and enjoys a bachelor lifestyle in New York City.
When his college friend Felix shows up after being left by his wife, Oscar tries to console his pal and get him back on the dating horse, but all that does is expose just how unresolved his feelings are about his own ex.

Good thing I gave this a chance before reading these reviews. I have watched the first two episodes. While not the classic original it does have some redeeming qualities. Give it a chance to get its legs.

Really? Why are you pulling this out of mothballs? They have already tried to bring the the odd couple back once before and it didn't work.
The ONLY way and I mean the only way this could work is if Chuck Lorre writes it.

Matthew Perry as Oscar? I see him as Felix. I wish him success but, since "Friends" his TV sitcoms have not fared well.
