A comedy following a woman who escapes a doomsday cult and starts her life over in New York.
Kimmy Schmidt is a woman in her 20's who is rescued from a doomsday cult in Indiana after spending 15 years in an underground bunker. Wanting a fresh start to her life, she moves to New York City where she now must adapt to the new world around her.
