A drama following a man brought back to life by a scientist trying to save his own life.
75-year-old Jimmy Pritchard is a drunk who was forced to resign as L.A. County Sheriff 15 years ago due to corrupt conduct. After he is killed while stumbling across a robbery, billionaire tech-genius twins Mary and Otto Goodwin bring him back to life.
Resurrected as a younger, stronger version of himself, a re-animated Jimmy now has another chance at life. The question is: will he embrace his second chance with a new sense of purpose or fall back into his old ways?

This is by far one of the best new shows. I agree with the posters above - the good shows get cancelled and the drivel multiplies exponentially. Yuk to the drivel. As far as the season finale -- Mary just went to India for a while, and if otto can download himself into Arthur, he can download himself into anything and keep a presence so the show is salvageable. I was hoping he was not really dead but apparently he's gone. I hope they do salvage the show - they didn't let Prichard die and it looks like Duvall will not be canned forever so I think they left us some hope. Unfortunately begging to keep a show does no good as long as there are drivel lovers out there but I'm kind of thinking that they left us at least some hope. The main characters are still around, anyway. Hope springs eternal. I'd like to see the show continue!

I really hope Second Chance is not cancelled. Something new, interesting, and refreshing that is not reality tv comes along, and with very few sexual innuendo's, a show that a family can sit and watch together and right away it gets pulled? I hope that's not the case here. I'm so tired of the many shows that are currently on the air that seem to glorify murder, infidelity, lust, just to name a few. This show was different in that it gave light to what people can and will do for those they love and are close to- it wasn't just about being resurrected, but about righting their wrongs and mending or building relationships, the lengths people will go to protect those they love, and sure the science fiction twist on it is also great. But I looked forward to Friday evenings and hopefully I still can.

Sorry folks, but Second Chance is getting cancelled. How do I know? The final episode story lines were all wrapped up with a perfect bow. Too bad, because it was a really good show. At least we all got to watch it. It was like reading a good mystery with only 10 chapters. It's only hope is for Netflix to resurrect it from the junk heap like it did with Longmire. It's a sad day when a show like Second Chance does poorly in the ratings and crap like 2 Broke Girls stays on the air. That speaks volumes about American's TV taste.
