The unexpected ending left me wondering, not so much about that UFO descending over the interstate bridge (either the same man-made UFO discovered at that hanger or from "out there". What leaves me wondering is their search for their son they gave up for adoption: was he piloting that saucer? Because the bright beam shone down upon Scully who is now confirmed to have alien DNA. That's where it ended.

Loved the show when it was on the first time and I love it even now. I do hope that the network will pick it up for more seasons, even if they have to keep the narrowed down to the 6 episode season thing, I'm fine with that, it is however better than nothing at all....I just really enjoyed seeing the chemistry of Mulder and Skully and I would hate to see it go away (again).

I hope it gets picked for another 8 years I just the chemistry Mulder & Sully have even the funny lizard episode had me laughing at the oddities we now go out hunting for. We love this program is wonderful.

I was expecting great things, but this rebirth of X-Files is denatured and bland, like the energy and sparkle of the actors and of the series itself has gone. It isn't bad, but it isn't great either. This makes me sad.

Was it wise presenting a comedic episode (The Lizard Man) so early in the series? Overconfidence?
So far, kinda bland. So many references and comments about their past exploits. Like a nostalgia festival.
If memory serves, the last few seasons of the original series were a mess. Let's hope their cult status doesn't go to their heads.

So another series that can not be rated by the obsolete system that has ruined many great shows due to their only using the young. The older are living longer watch more often and have more money to spend on advertised products than they had years ago,. Wake up the system needs changing. MKL&ML
