An action drama following a team out to stop a time-traveling criminal from destroying America.
After a mysterious criminal steals a secret time machine with the intent of changing the past to destroy America, the future of humanity lies in the balance. To deal with the threat, a handpicked team is formed consisting of a scientist, a soldier, and a history professor, who use a prototype of the machine to travel back to critical points in time.
The mission won't be easy, as the team must must be careful not to let their actions adversely affect the past, while also staying one step ahead of the dangerous fugitive in order to put a stop to his path of destruction before time runs out.

This really needs to be renewed! Truly a great show! I don’t ever do this but if the execs with the decision power read this. Please renew! I watch with my teenaged daughter. It’s one of the only things we do together now! Gotta love teenagers!

Love this show please renew for a third season It is a great show and I can’t believe people don’t enjoy the history and time travel aspect of it Maybe some of those people who watch that ridiculous bachelor and bachelorette for all these years should try something with substance

..are you kidding me , three episodes to go ?? This season has been brilliant come on NBC renewal for a third....dont do the dirty again ....
there is a serious fanbase for this show ...i want to see rittenhouse destroyed but you really can't do that in two seasons....five maybe ...
anyone here agree ?
and Suzanne your comment 'concerned that S2 of Timeless would be hard to follow for anyone that didn't watch S1? This show needs to somehow appeal to the masses' i agree but its not selling short though , i think its building up to some serious plotline we not gonna expect
providing NBC wises up and gives a suitable commissioned renewal...

I just love shows about time travel ever since I was a kid watching "Lost In Space." I was very excited to see Timeless. It involves history which I love. It also gives the audience the chance to ponder...if time travel were possible...should we really try to change history to our liking regardless of the consequences? I like that it it is entertaining but also challenges our belief system...are events fate? Is change only possible through divine intervention? And if humans could...should they be able to change history?
