Vince is a washed-up high school athlete who reluctantly took over his family's Brooklyn gym rather than pursue his own dreams. Just as he is thinking of selling the gym and moving to Florida, an ex from his high school days surprises him by dropping off their teenage son on his doorstep.

But Vince has next-to-nothing in common with his son, and he must now learn to be a dad while also dealing with disorderly employees and his smothering, idiotic younger brother.
