A drama following a former actress who teams up with a private investigator to solve crimes.
Sam Swift is a former actress who played a detective in a hit TV series until suffering a public breakdown that sends her to rehab.
Wanting to restart her career, Sam convinces a private investigator named Eddie to let her shadow him as research for a potential comeback role.
While Eddie isn't too keen on his new babysitting gig at first, Sam is able to prove herself valuable by using the skills she learned while playing a cop.

I liked it. Love Ed Cibrian - he doesn’t seem to have too much luck with his shows - hope he has some luck with this one.

And just watch no one will watch it because it's like Deception and it'll get renewed!

This sounds like (insert name of detective show with 2 people) where a (magician, author, actor, student, martial artist, con man) team up to solve crimes. I often want to see a law and order version of this where every criminal gets off because the cop could not follow procedure with the other person around.

Was gonna say it sounds like a gender reversal of Castle with an actress instead of an author

Sounds exactly like Canadian show “Carter” that’s still airing with Jerry O’ Connell. “An actor returns home after a public meltdown. Partnering with his police detective friend, he tries to use his acting experience to solve real crimes.”

Should be called Deception Take Two.. Not going to waste my time.

That sounds like a Canadian show called Private Eyes but that's a former hockey player teaming up with a private eye

Not interested and decided not to watch any more new shows on ABC because they cancel all the good ones. Why bother!! Jeopardy I love. Most of the Networks are terrible and they renew all the dumb shows and cancel all the good shows so I choose PBS dramas as the best shows ever.

Exact same concept as Deception (which was just cancelled) and from the same network!! We really liked Deception. It was fun to watch as a family with my 10 year old.
