A drama following a witch who works with a vampire to solve the mysteries within a manuscript.
Diana Bishop is a brilliant historian who is also a reluctant witch in denial of her heritage. When she finds a manuscript in Oxford's Bodleian Library, its sets her on the path of a dangerous mystery.
Teaming up with geneticist Matthew Clairmont, who is an ancient vampire hiding his own dark family secrets, the two work to understand the meaning of the manuscript despite an age-old mistrust between witches and vampires.
But as their relationship develops and their heritage comes in to play, events occur that threaten to unravel the fragile peace that has long-existed between humans, witches, vampires, and demons.
Adapted from the best-selling novel by Deborah Harkness.

@Richard, it concluded and still at 4.6. This isn't the only show that was delayed a year or more due to COVID. Have some common sense. Seasons 2 & 3 were excellent, I just finished it. So much so, that I am definitely going to read the book series.

Both seasons are available on Shudder. You can get Shudder on Roku and Amazon Prime. I just started watching this and it's really good so far. Hope there is a season 3.

I get Sundance(TV) but apparently Sundance Now is something else. I see The Life of Brian is showing five times in a row tonite. It also offers monster helpings of Andy Griffith and Hogan’s Heroes. It must be cheaper than reality and talk shows.
I won’t miss Witches. I was only looking because there is nothing else. I watched the first season and it was fair I guess. The witch shows are on par with the zombie shows to me. I give the witches a slight lead. Don’t watch anything zombie.

I saw season 1 in 2019 and now I find that season 2 will air in 2021, 2 years between seasons? To top it off, they will change it to air on Sundance channel. Much harder to find without prior notice on all channels.
When they leave a show in hiatus for a long time, people tire of it and move on, with the rating of 4.9, how long before it drops, hmm.

I read the amazing books as an so glad this became a show. It's a little different, but we'll cast and just as addictive as the books.Please make more!
