Coach Ben Hopkins is a crude and selfish high school basketball coach who views winning as everything. Unfortunately he's a bit of a loser who always looks for the easy way out.

His team, The Colts, are a pretty sad bunch themselves. But Ben thinks that turning around this hapless bunch will be his ticket to the big leagues.
