A drama following a detective on a grisly murder case who becomes embroiled in LA's rich history.

When a brutal murder rocks Los Angeles in 1938, Detective Tiago Vega and his partner become consumed by a case that reflects the city's rich history, including its traditions of Mexican-American folklore, the espionage actions of the Third Reich, and the rise of radio evangelism. This leads to Tiago and his family battling powerful forces that threaten to tear them apart.

I liked this show. It drew me in... You don't give shows a chance anymore. Let something find its feet.

Please don’t cancel this show!!!
Love the history, the story lines. Slow start, but it really evolved.
So much to work with.
You have Nathan Lane and Natalie Dormer, not to mention the rest of the fantastic cast.
So tired of the rest of the dreck out her.

I've found this mini-series fantastic so far at Episode 3. Natalie Dormer playing four personas in this episode. The Pachuca-dance sequences were "over-the-top" great and provided, yet another, skill & talent for actress N. Dormer. Realize, I never heard of her before her role on "Elementary"; after that, I started watching Game of Thrones. only to see her again among some other roles.

You know when you go to a bar, eat too much bar pizza and drink too much then some other guy just as drunk as you pukes and even though you are dry heaving, you can't look away ?
They had a free preview of episode one. That about sums it up.
