Luz is a teenage girl who accidentally finds a portal to a magical world called the Boiling Isles, where she befriends a rebellious witch named Eda and a tiny warrior named King.

While Luz doesn't possess any magical abilities, she pursues her dream of becoming a witch by serving as Eda's apprentice at the Owl House, where she ends up finding a new family in an unlikely setting.
