A comedic mystery following Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy.
Teenager Wednesday Addams is a student at Nevermore Academy, where she is honing her emerging psychic ability. While doing her best to navigate new and tangled relationships at school, she is also trying to thwart a monstrous killing spree terrorizing the local town as well as solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.

I'm an old fella, (72) and I really enjoyed this series. I remember The Adams Family (series) and the follow on movies.
I think this is a faithful rendering (in spirit) of the series and the movies.
I also remember The Munsters, but The Adams Family left it for dead.
I came here tonight to see if the series had been renewed....
Alas no news :( Jenna Ortega plays the part very well (in my book).

I've always been an Addams family fan and Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday spot on and the supporting cast nailed it. Really good show , Tim Burton is a mastermind and he delivered a smash. Casting director couldn't have been better minus Gomez shouldn't have been Luis Guzman (great actor but zero resemblance to Gomez). I am pretty sure there will be another season, to good for there not to be.

I'm going to be in the minority, I can already tell. I was excited for this show. I loved the Addams Family and this looked so good. Sadly, it wasn't as great as I was hoping it would be. Not that it was bad and Ortega did a decent job for the most part, but she is no Wednesday Addams. Wednesday is a dark character who is awkward and offputting yet endearing. Ortega's Wednesday was basically just a moody teenager. Nothing more. You didn't see a whole lot of the rest of the family, which was probably a good thing. The story was predictable and it gave off some serious HP vibes. Overall, it was ok but nowhere near as great as it could have been.

Tim Burton's take on the Addams Family Wednesday girl. Record lengthy list of characters. It could get five things up but it's on netflix so I'll Nevermore know.
