They'd have been better off adapting the actual followup story written in the 90's, which was based on LUCAS' own outline. Willow was intended to be a lead in to a larger story just like The Hobbit was to LOTR. Chronicles of the Shadow War: Shadow Moon, Shadow Dawn, and Shadow Star. Better story, Willow becomes a REAL sorcerer, not the joke they make him in that Disney+ series. He takes a new name because Willow becomes a name EVERYONE knows.

I loved the movie, I love the show. Not many good fantasy shows on these days. The characters are funny and interesting to me. I really hope it gets renewed.

I live5d there original movie. This show was such a disappointment. The writing and acting are awful. It's not at all in the spirit of George Lucas's original work. I'm quite surprised that Warwick Davis went along with this.

This would be far better had they left out the constant cracking of jokes in every sentence. Expected far more. Visuals are good but the acting is poor. Its a pity but yet another to the bin for me.
