These professional heroes (though they would never claim that) from many diversities go into the very worst situations. They willingly risk their lives for others where something very bad has happened to someone (or to many at the same time) and they do their very best to get a life-saving outcome - all day/night long - just think about that. They fight for those whose potential for loss of life - suddenly became NOW and use their training/talents to give that person the best possible chance to live. This is not drama or academy award winning acting. This is REAL LIFE for them, every day, and their names could go up on that past firefighter/medic wall at any time - and they know that and to their darndest to keep it from happening – today. They live their lives right on the edge and they always hope to bring those they help, whether shot, or trapped in a blazing fire, or caught up in a domestic dispute or a victim of brutal gang activity - back from that edge. This is no Tom Cruise bravado here and they do not get $millions for their roles in these real suddenly-called-to duty activities. But they do get the satisfaction that they are relevant on this Earth. Maybe YOU will one day need their help and be truly graced by their Bigger-Than-Life presence. No money can ever pay for the value of that. Eagerly waiting for Season 2.

Might be interesting except for the overabundance of commentary and it's unlikely Wolf will keep politics out of it.
