This show is so intriguing! My sister and I watched the entire season in 1 sitting.
I'm so glad that there will be a season 2. Fingers crossed that the strikes won't affect this show

Oh boy, so many people comment here that never even watched. Pathetic.
This is a great show that keeps you guessing. There are weird things going on but in fact, from our perspective, we know more than the protagonist. And yet we know nothing. I am in episode 6 now and want to bet season 1 ends with Rebecca Ferguson going outside :-)

I do love this show, but sometimes it seems like the episodes drag on. But, that is not enough to make me stop watching!!

I'm enjoying it but it's really leaving some huge plot holes that are covered by nothing more than "because Pact".
No elevators ... because Pact. No magnifiers...because Pact. I've seen one disabled person being carried upstairs - are ramps also forbidden? Tech to have databases accessible all over but they can't do email. Paper is a luxury (no trees) but folders of paper all over - no digital copies?
How do they have the tech to doctor the image on the big screens but they're using green-text CRT monitors? Where are they getting the metals for batteries/etc.?
The show really needs one good expository moment to fill in some of these gaps.

You nailed it. And it's also a socialist lockdown. There have been a multitude of sci-fi movies that have a lot in common (fortunately no Common) with this series so there may be nothing original about it. This story has a good record of success..

Too bad it has the Common denominator in the cast. I may check it out someday but it's not going to the top of my list.

Hmmm... a show about minions waking up to how they're kept as mushrooms in the (D) plantation.
How'd they ever let that one slip by?

Looks worth checking out but I would never watch it because Common has a big role and I can't stand him even though I once thought I liked him. He's a far better actor than musician though as his rap is blander than cardboard.
