HBO has picked up two more seasons of the hit series.
April 8, 2014
HBO announced today that Game of Thrones has been renewed for fifth and sixth seasons. The news comes two days after the Season 4 premiere drew huge ratings numbers with 6.6 million viewers - the network's most watched program since The Sopranos series finale in 2007.

1 book = 2 seasons. Do the math after the new books are finished 1-3 years.

Ha Ha - Perhaps you guys here at IS MY SHOW ought to update the cast list... A lot of them are dead and not on the show anymore. Then again we'll forgive since many of the cast regulars seem to be dropping faster than panties on prom night.

Tyler, I do the same exact thing. Love this show and not surprised at all it's coming back. If it's going to cover all the books, it'll need more than two more seasons.

This show is literally the only reason I pay for HBO, I turn it on the month before as to not miss the coming this season in game of thrones trailers and I cancel it when it is over, I use to do the same for True Blood before the last two seasons of it lol
