The Canadian drama returns to the U.S.
September 3, 2014
ION Television has picked up the rights to Saving Hope in a deal that will see the Canadian medical drama return to the U.S. for the first time since 2012. The series first aired in the states on NBC two summers ago, where it lasted just 11 episodes before being pulled from the network's schedule due to low ratings. The remaining first-season episodes were put up on nbc.com but the show's second season only aired to audiences up north.
With Saving Hope moving to ION TV, U.S. audiences will now be able to watch the show's first two seasons plus its upcoming third season, which is currently in production.

Please put Saving Hope back on ION. I look forward to it every time it is on. It was on at 11 and 12 PM last week and suddenly it's gone. There sure wasn't a finale of the show and we were all left hanging! Very disappointed with ION Television!

We have thoroughly enjoyed "Saving Hope!" The emotion you were able to capture in Alex's face and Charlie'S was exceptional. Very sad that we will not have a season 6, however, we realize you had to write in 2 pregnancies for Erica. Not easy, I'm sure. We will miss this series very much. Thank you for this wonderful series!

I only found "Saving Hope" this last year. I fell in love with it and then found out it was all a few years ago. My heart is empty, I look so forward to this show when I finally go to bed at night. It is interesting, love the story and the characters. I just read it is going to be more new episodes and I so hope it is on a station in Tennessee and Florida. My daughter and I talk about it by text as we watch but only at commercials. Please writers keep "Saving Hope" alive. I missed a lot of it but I will watch every time it's on and eventually I'll see all the years I missed. Thank you, I'm a FAN!

I recently found this show and can't get enough of it.. The stories are intoxicating, passionate and humanistic. the characters are each contributing to the human landscape, and compelling. I wish I lived next door to these wonderfully complex people.
Keep it comming

Happy the show is back in the U.S. Am a retired American living in Philippines so I have to depend on the internet to get my shows. satellite and cable here suck do not show any decent shows so Saving Hope happens to be one of my favorite on the Net. We are on EP 11 wondering if it is renewed for another season again. Should be hope it will be enough said

I guess I'd better say kudos to THIS SITE, (ismyshowcancelled) because without my regular use of this site to see if my other shows got renewed or not, I would NOT have found out that there were any new episodes for season two or that it was picked up for this third season! Stupid NBC....

This isn't "Raising Hope" (which HAS been cancelled). Visit that show's page if you wanna rip on FOX!

Confused about some of the comments. Does not sound like they are talking about saving Hope. When it was pulled after 11 EPS it bothered me, only one more top finish the season and you pull the plug???? Well that is typical of the network mucky mucks who are probably on crack or forgot to take their medication. The network leaders do not seem to have a clue as to what is good or bad. Going by the rating system they use which is outdated and not accurate I guess we have to suffer the consequences. personally I like the show and just loaded it from Canada. MKL
