The new drama is capped at 13 episodes.

The CW announced its winter schedule today, which includes a January 25 season finale date for Frequency. This confirms that the network has decided not to order any additional episodes for the show's first season.
The freshman drama premiered in early October but failed to generate much interest in its 9:00pm time slot following Arrow on Wednesday nights, losing roughly half of its lead-in viewership. The show's soft ratings resulted in no back order, which likely means it will not be returning for Season 2.
There may be a small glimmer of hope, though. As part of a new deal with Netflix, Frequency will be available on the streaming service eight days after its season finale on The CW. With the network not yet officially cancelling the show, it is speculated that another season could be in the cards if it performs well on Netflix.

I hope ismyshowcancelled.com puts a reminder on Thur 2/2 that Frequency and No Tomorrow start streaming on Netflix since that will be their only hope - slim that it is...

Sounds like a gamble. If it doesn't do well on Netflix, that basically means there'll be no season 2 and we'll probably end up with another excellent TV series being cancelled with the storyline not being brought to a conclusion, and I really hate it when that happens. :(

No clue why they would cancel this. Such a good show and superb acting.

I'm loving this one, the low ratings surprise me, meanwhile some of the shittiest shows get good rating? All my summer shows except for 1 got canceled and of course the stuff you'd have to pay me to watch got renewed...lol

I like this show.
I'm beginning to think someone in the industry has it out for Peyton List. They cancelled Tomorrow People and now this.

Father son relationship was far more interesting a dynamic in the film version, not sure why they had to change the sex. The father seemed too pussy whipped to be interesting, you didnt care for the female characters, and the protagonist relationships with the besty next door wasn't believable at all; he seemed to creepy, needy and not very attractive. Big failure all round, ill get around to watching the rest on netflix, a lot of good content to watch instead.

I find this a very engaging and thought-provoking show. I'm surprised at the CW not filling it out.

A decent film doesn't always translate to a decent TV series. Hoped it would succeed, expected it to fail. Shouldn't have quit your day job on Supernatural, Carver.
